Lindsay Ell did not hesitate when she was approached about joining Brantley Gilbert on his latest single, “What Happens In A Small Town.” In addition to loving the song, Lindsay tells us that she could personally relate to it. “It took me 30 seconds into the song to be like, 'This is awesome!' Like, 'this is amazing and I'd be honored.' I'm so grateful they thought of me and asked me to be a part of it. It's been so much fun, and it's a song I really identify with, too. I think everybody knows that feeling of going through a relationship and trying to get past it, and whether you live in a small town or whether you live in a city that feels like a small town it's tough sometimes in your small group of friends or the places you always go, you know, you may see each other all the time and so it's a song I was able to identify with really quickly.”
“What Happens In A Small Town” sits in the Top 25 on the country charts.
Lindsay will join Brantley on some tour dates beginning in August. In the meantime, she's got a bunch of fair and festival dates ahead, including CMA Fest in Nashville on June 6th.
