Jordan Davis always knew he's pack a one-two punch with his album cuts “Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me.” In fact, Jordan wanted to release his current hit, “Take It From Me,” first off his debut album Home State, but he left the decision to those around him who chose “Singles You Up,” which went on to become his first Number One hit.

Though he loves — and co-wrote — both songs, Jordan tells us he feels like the current single is a better reflection of him. “I think that 'Take It From Me' is a little more me lyrically and as far as like the delivery of it. I think you can kind of see a few more of my influences on some of those lyrics.” in Silver Spring, MD.
