In light of his arrest last week for domestic violence against his wife, America's Got Talent finalist Michael Ketterer will not be joining Garth Brooks when he plays at Notre Dame Stadium next month. Brooks extended the invitation last Wednesday (September 19th), the day before Ketterer was arrested. Brooks addressed the issue during his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook Live show yesterday (Monday, September 24th) saying, “Called him this weekend, we talked. We decided it was better that he not appear at Notre Dame and not perform there. That family will figure it out and find it within themselves, and of course the good Lord, and figure it out. Michael Ketterer will not be at Notre Dame.”
The Notre Dame Stadium concert is already sold out. It takes place on October 20th, and will be the venue's very first concert ever.
