Garth Brooks recently went out on a limb for one of the finalists on America's Got Talent. Michael Ketterer was a personal favorite of judge Simon Cowell, who sent a message to Garth via the TV asking him to write a song for the singer and father of six. Ask and you shall receive! Garth did just that, and during the finals last week, Michael sang that song, called “The Courage To Love.” Garth's support didn't stop there — on Monday (September 17th), during an episode of his “Inside Studio G” Facebook Live broadcast, he also invited Michael to open his concert next month at Notre Dame Stadium. The superstar said, “We’re going to suit you up with a band. We’re going to put you out in front of 85,000 of the sweetest people you’ve ever played for before, and they’re going to be pulling for you like no other. This is going to be good, hoss.”
Hopefully, that's still the case, as Michael was arrested for felony domestic violence on Thursday (September 20th) in Los Angeles. He reportedly got into a fight with his wife in their hotel room and was arrested after cops saw a visible red mark on his wife, according to TMZ. Michael was released after posting $50,000 bail. Law enforcement sources say the case will be downgraded to a misdemeanor because the injury was so minor.
