Chase Rice celebrated his first Number One hit with a party yesterday (Tuesday, June 11th) in Nashville. He joined with his co-writers to toast "Eyes On You," Chase's first chart-topper as both artist and songwriter. He previously scored a Number One hit as a co-writer on Florida Georgia Line's mega-hit "Cruise."
Chase said that the ups and downs of the past few years have made this feat that much more meaningful. ["I've been celebrating hard. It's been amazing. Like I tell everybody, the greatest thing that happened to me was the failures of the last three years because now this moment's happened and it's allowed me to appreciate it the way I wouldn't have years ago."] SOUNDCUE (:11 OC: . . . have years ago.)
Chase's new single is called "Lonely If You Are."
