Lady Antebellum has parted ways with their longtime label, Capitol Nashville, and signed with Big Machine Label Group's BMLG Records, home to Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, and Florida Georgia Line, to name a few. Hillary Scott told Billboard, “We have been truly blessed throughout our career to work with some of the brightest people in music. We've watched BMLG become the powerhouse they are from the sidelines and couldn't be more excited to become part of their family. We hope to honor all the people who have been part of our story over the last 10 years — can't wait to work with some old friends again and are excited for where it takes us all together!”

A song called “Gravity,” co-written and sung by Tim McGraw, will be featured in Free Solo, a National Geographic Documentary Film about free soloist climber Alex Honnold as he prepares to climb El Capitan in Yosemite National Park without a rope. Free Solo arrives in theaters on September 28th.

As we tipped you off earlier, it is now confirmed that Dolly Parton will be honored as this year's MuisCares Person of the Year on February 8th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, just two days before the Grammy Awards. She is the first artist from the Nashville music community to be honored by MusiCares, according to a release. Dolly said, “I am so excited and humbled to be honored as MusiCares Person of the Year. It's even more special knowing the gala benefits music people in need. I can't wait to hear all of the great artists singing my music.”
